What is a Community Reserve Site?

In 1992 the Milton Keynes Community Foundation was gifted a portfolio of land by the Milton Keynes Development Corporation to ensure that accessible, good quality and affordable land is available for development by local voluntary and community groups.

The Foundation's property company, MK Community Properties Ltd, manages the sites with a view to the long-term development of the area, ensuring that the sites are used appropriately to benefit the local community and ensuring that the current and future needs of the voluntary sector are met.

All surpluses from MK Community Properties Ltd are passed to the Foundation to support grant making to the voluntary and community sector.
