Admiral Copier for Resource Room
Published - Wednesday, 16 August, 2006
The Foundation's Acorn House Project has been boosted by the provision of a top of the range Sharp MX Networked Colour Phocopier by local firm, Admiral Business Systems.

The copier is situated in Acorn House's Resource Room on the first floor of the flagship community building on Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes. The Resource Room opened its doors this month for use by all local charities, vluntary organisations and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that become Acorn House Members.

The idea behind the facility is to enable Acorn House Members to print documents and make copies - all at a fraction of the cost of the prices on the High Street. Acorn House Project Manager, Jennifer Drewell, explains:

"The facilities we are creating here at Acorn House are open to all voluntary sector organisations and SMEs which will benefit from resource-sharing and accessing professional, discounted services. We are very proud of what has been achieved and with Admiral's fantastic support, we will continue to move forward with the development of this unique community facility."

Admiral Business Systems are this year celebrating 10 years trading within Milton Keynes. Speaking about their contribution to Acorn House, Garry Dockree, Direction, said: " Milton Keynes is such a vibrant, dynamic city and the voluntary and community sector really reflects this. We are delighted to be able to offer a copier to these essential groups that form the very foundations of our local community."

All community groups, charities and SMEs are welcome to become members of Acorn House, from as little as £25 per year.  For further information visit www.acornhousemk.co.uk or call Jennifer on 01908 397110.
