Crèche Facility

The development of Acorn House included the development of a creche facility on the first floor of the building.

The creche is available for hire by groups that are organising events and conferences at Acorn House where delegates may have child care requirements.

Tenant organisation, Women & Work, for example, regularly uses the creche facility for the children of women that are undertaking their training courses. Speaking about the facility, Rachel Owen of Women & Work, said:

"The purpose built creche is a great asset to Acorn House - we use it regularly for our funded provision without which many of our clients would be unable to access our services."

Please note that use of the creche is only by prior arrangement, as it is not a full-time facility and staff must be booked for particular sessions.
